The A200 is a hydraulically operated pressure reducing valve that maintains a constant, pre-set downstream pressure regardless of fluctuations in upstream pressure or demand. A spring-loaded reducing pilot senses downstream pressure and modulates the main valve position accordingly. Used extensively in water distribution networks to protect downstream pipework and fittings, reduce leakage rates and manage pressure zones.
