The gearbox-operated RSV is specified for large diameter valves where operating torque exceeds practical handwheel limits and for valves that must be operable under full differential pressure. The bevel gearbox significantly reduces the torque required at the operating nut and can be extended for operation from surface level. Required for all gate valves DN300 and above in most specifications.
